Where the name comes from

Named by Kuʻulei Keawekane.

The term Moho ʻĀina was made by Kuʻulei Keawekane, a lifelong Aloha ʻĀina and musician from Keaukaha. She created the term so that people who believe in the same things can unite to make them happen. Sam Peck, an Aloha ʻĀina from Boston, has been helping by doing the things that needed to happen to bring Moho ʻĀina together and tell people about the term.

Nā Hoa Moho ʻĀina.

Nā Hoa Moho ʻĀina are friends of the hui — candidates whose records show alignment with Lawena and Palapala, are recommended to voters in their communities, but are not actively engaged in our work.
